Usually, within 200-800 miles, you’ll most likely want a 3500 class truck with an open wedge or 2-4 car enclosed trailer behind. This type of move is our favorite because it causes less damage and it’s delivered within two days usually.
For anything between 1200 and 2500 miles, you’ll need a semi-truck and trailer. These are needed because of the wear and tear on the trucks for this kind of mileage. They’re around 80 feet in length and won’t fit in most neighborhoods.
